Is my donation tax-deductible? +

Yes. NEFOTA is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit in the United States. All US donations are fully tax-deductible. We will email you an official receipt immediately after your donation for your tax records.

Is it safe to donate online? +

Absolutely. All donations are processed through SSL encrypted (256-bit) payment gateways. We never store your card details on our servers. Your personal data is handled in accordance with GDPR and international privacy standards.

Can I cancel or change a monthly donation? +

Yes, at any time. Simply contact us at nefotafoundation@gmail.com and we will cancel or adjust your recurring donation within 24 hours no questions asked. We appreciate every contribution, however long it lasts.

How quickly does my donation reach the programs? +

Donations are allocated to active programs within 30 days. For the current seed funding campaign, funds are held until we hit the $5,000 goal and then deployed to program launch activities in phase order.

Can I donate in currencies other than USD? +

Our payment processors (PayPal, Stripe) automatically handle currency conversion. You can donate in GBP, EUR, CAD, AUD, KES, TZS, and many other currencies. The conversion happens transparently at the standard exchange rate.
